Earlier versions of Outlook did not automatically accept meeting notices as
tentative and place them in your calendar. Why was this changed in the
current version? As a user, I find it disruptive.
It's to increase calendar reliability in organizations where free/busy is
relied on heavily - this helps to eliminate double booking because other
users can see the tentative appointments in your free/busy.
