Meeting request acceptance options

Hi, I'm trying to find a solution to the following problem. I'm
designated as delegate, with boss' requests going only to me. Once I
view or "roll over" them in Outlook or on BB, they appear in his
calendar as tentative. So far so good.
The problem arises when somebody sends a request in the evening. If I
don't check my email, there is no way for boss to know he was invited
to something. Is there any way to have the invite appear on the
calendar as soon as it's received on the Exchange? For the record, we
use Outlook 2003 but colleagues with 2007 have the same issue.

Typically, how you want it to work is how it works - outlook adds meeting
requests to the calendar as tentative automatically.

Do you know what version of Exchange?
