Hi,
I am hoping someone has dealt with this one already and might have an easy
solution for me. I have checked the Microsoft Support KB and found nothing
relevant there.
I am using Office 2003, recently upgraded from Office 2000. My
correspondent is still on Office 2000.
When I create a meeting in Outlook Calendar and send a Meeting Request to my
correspondent (i.e. created in Outlook 2003 and sent to Outlook 2000), the
request is received as a plain e-mail message (see below) rather than being
interpreted by Outlook 2000 as a meeting request and handled appropriately.
This seems like a backward compatibility issue. Is there anyway to tweak
Outlook 2003 to send Outlook 2000 compatible meeting requests, or to add
compatibility to Outlook 2000 to handle Outlook 2003 meeting requests?
