Meeting requests from non outlook users do not work

I have just switched to Exchange. I am using Outlook 2003. One of my biggest
clients sends me meeting requests and I receive an email with an attachment.
The meeting request is in the attachment but the accept buttons are greyed
out. This client used to send requests to me before I switched to Exchange
with no problems. Requests from outlook users seem to work fine. Please help.

Exchange is a server, Outlook is a client. The server should have nothing
to do with your ability to accept/decline meetings. What mail program is
this client using? Meeting requests sent in iCal format or the native
Outlook appointment.item format should work just fine.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Milly
I still have this problem, my client is using Lotus notes and has just
upgraded to V6. I realise you don't support notes but is there something I
can do in exchange or Outlook to help this situation.
I don't think it is relevant but just in case it is we use a hosted exchange
serivce.
