Meeting Requests with another Mail Server

We recently setup a company owned by us on an Exchange 2007 server.

Previously they were on our Domino server.

I created mail contacts for everyone on the Domino server on the Exchange
2007 server.

When you create a calendar request from the Exchange side to the Domino side
it sends the request fine and the person is able to Accept it in Notes.

When the accpetence comes back however it says that the invite to person1
has been accepted by "person1/servername <[email protected]> and adds it as
another attendee in the address box.

The problem is that from that point on, everytime you change the meeting or
reschedule it, the people on the Domino side get two requests because their
addresses are in there twice.

Any ideas how to solve this issue?
