Meetings automatically updates when closing Outlook

When I close outlook 2007, it sends a meeting update to a meeting that I have
open, even though I click “don’t saveâ€, because all I wanted to do was look
at another possible day. Yes it sounds crazy, but this happened three times
without fail when I tested it on my own:

1. Create a meeting, then reopen it and change the date (but don’t save)
because all I was doing was looking for a better day for others in my
original invites list.

2. Then close outlook and choose “don’t save†meeting invite when it asks
you.

3. Reopen Outlook and see if your meeting has been changed.

For me the meeting is updated.

Yes, the meeting moved to the day that I was thinking of changing it to.

If you reopen outlook, is it still changed?
