memb. cards/ mail merge/ printing whole list

hi

First thanks Mary, for the tips on the data base and merge fields, after
some playing around, have it worked out. Though I did the first list in
another program, I learned to do it in another membership card, which helped
a LOT. thanks again.

I have about 95 records in the present data base. Still working on the card
some. It will print 10 cards per page. When I do the mail merge for all 95
names, do you know if it will print just the first 10 names, or will it add
pages to include the rest. Or will I have to print 10 at a time.

I did read the previous reply on changing the batch number. Not sure if it
will apply in this instance?

A merge will print all the pages if you designate this option. I'd do the batch
registry change.

hi thanks, I was kind of concerned with the note:

Note before you do this that your system performance may suffer. Sending
lots and lots of separate print jobs may cause slowdown due to the quantity
of the jobs, and sending one long job may slow down Publisher or your system
as it has to deal with a much larger file."

I am assuming this is just temporary while the project finishes? It should
be pretty well normal after the print job, as far as Publisher is concerned?

Microsoft has about the same information here:

Publications are not individually collated and stapled when you use the mail
merge feature to print in Publisher 2003, Publisher 2002 or in Publisher 2000
