member import error : UID is a required field,

I get this message when I try to add members to the domain in GMS.

"member import error : UID is a required field"

any idea what this means and/or how to fix it?

What type of file are you using for import.
And can you add an example of the import file?

I was actually adding from Directory. I will try to add from a file and see
if that helps anything.

Adding from a csv file works fine, but I still cannot add from Active
Directory. Still get the same error. I tried changing the unique identifier
field in the Groove Management Site from the default "nsuniqueid" to
"ObjectUID" (active directory's field) but when I click apply and OK, it
changes back to "nsuniqueid". Any ideas on why it does that? Do I have
insufficient AD permissions? I tried using my managers login and it still
comes up with the same result.
