Memory Access Violation

I ran the "Last Critical Patch" from Microsoft and since
that time I have been getting an error occurring that
reads "Memory Access Violation in module Kernal32 at
3129:82326643"

I cannot even run scan disk without it discontinuing after
ten tries.

What did this last critical patch do? How can I fix it?
