I am running Office 2000 on several different systems that
have XP Pro installed on them.
I am getting an error opening some Excel worksheets on some
systems that states that 'memory could not be "read"' or
'"written"'. Some PC's can open ALL worksheets correctly,
the bad ones fail on the same subset of worksheets. These
worksheets can also be opened on other PC's running Win98,
using the version of Excel from Office 97.
I have tried disabling macros, have looked for *.xlb files
to delete, installed service pack 3, even changed the
physical memory in a couple of the PC's, searched the Web,
but have not found anything that works.
Does anyone have any ideas?
