Memory Error

WinXP
1,024 MB of ram with 730 MB available
2 GB virtual memory with 1.96 GB available

I'm getting an Out of Memory error when I try to run Access. Word 97 runs
fine. Access ran fine with 512 MB ram. What is going on and is there a
fix?

Out of the box, Access 97 (and 95, for that matter) couldn't run in 1 Gig.
It was fixed by SR-1 (or, more specifically, the Jet upgrade that was
included in that service pack).

Thanks to both of you. The Jet bd required sp2 which required sp1. Three
downloads took care of the problem.
