Memory fragmentation caused by (32-bit) Windows XP SP3 DLL in MATL

While running MATLAB, I have found that a possible software module
fragmenting my MATLAB's memory space is at
C:\ARCHIV~1\ARCHIV~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL

My question is: Can I uninstall such application without causing any problem
at all? If so, how can I do it?
