Nope. In OS X, it will take what it needs without you needing to do
anything.
In OS9 all you can do is increase the memory assigned to Word. It might
help.
You need to be a lot clearer on what it is you're trying to do. Word files
don't have memory allocations. There's no such thing. The Word application
is another story, but in that case memory allocation depends on your version
of Word.
Please post back with your OS and Office/Word version numbers and a more
detailed description of your problem.
You can't. In OS 9, you can increase the amount of memory allotted to Word,
but not in OS X. What version of Word, what OS, and what is the underlying
problem that you think increasing the amount of memory allocated to a file
will solve?
