Memory message

Tom

I have a database with a date entry form. This morning I tried to modify the
form and now when I try to open the DB I get a "there isn't enough memory to
perform this operation. Close any unneeded programs and try again message".

Everything was fine until I made these modifications.

Is there anything I can do to recover or am I doomed??

Thanx
Tom

I've run into this message. Reboot. My take on this has been it has been
a flaky hardware issue because it has never happened on any other PC with the
same application. So try the same application on another machine....

Tried both re booting and accessing from another machine... Neither worked.
Fortunately I found a backup of the DB to restore the form to it's original
state.

Is there some glitch having three "Option Groups" on a form??

there's no problem with 3 option groups.

and it is possible you have a corrupted file....

but you state that you tried "accessing from another machine".....that isn't
the same thing as running it on a different machine. copy/paste it to
another machine and try.

it lives on a network share on a server...

That is part of your problem.
If youre database is not split and it is located on a network share, you
will almost certainly get some corruption at some time. Even if it is a
split application, the front end should not be run from a network share. It
should always be on the local user's computer.
