memory overheads using groove

I am interested in what memory overhead their is when using groove. I look
at the task manager and I see that it uses anything from 5000k to 25000k.
sometime I have seen it upto 80000k.

I havent had any issues but a couple of our users as saying it is reducing
their machines performance. I not sure if this is a change managment issue
or real.

Marc,

I've recently installed Groove 2007 on a system where I was previously
running Groove 3.1 with no issues and no serious overhead. I have several
workspaces, 1 of which is a large file sharin workspace for in house files
shared by 3 users. Under Groove 3.1, my system would experience occaisonal
lag, but nothing real serious.

Since I've installed Groove 2007, I have yet to get the application to run
w/o crashing, sometimes after 5-10 minutes, and once or twice it's ran
anywherew from 30 minutes to an hour. Everytime this has happened, memory
usage has been upwards of 150,000 K and processor utilization was frequently
peaking. The system in question is a 2.4 GHz/533 P4 with 1 GB of RAM. I had
two instances where memory usage was over 250,000 K and one where it topped
310,000 K.

I NEVER saw those numbers under Groove 3.1.
