menu animation needs to go!

After updating office, the menus on Word, Excel, etc.
became animated meaning that menu doesn't open completely
and has arrow pointing down at the bottom of the menu and
clicking that arrow opens the remainder of the menu. How
do I get the menus to always open completely without
being animated? Is there a global change that can be to
all office programs without going into each program
individually? thanks

Hi Fein,

You can use Tools=>Customize=>Options to change the
settings in Word. Where the settings are common to each of
the Office apps one change will be throughout Office.
