I was fooling around in the registry. Apparently this was what caused
the problem, but I'm not sure.
WORD launches perfectly, operates fine, but there's no Menu Bar. I
finally Uninstalled and Reinstalled; the scary thing is that even with
the Reinstall, the Menu Bar is still missing.
Will I have to wipe out my hard drive and reinstall Windows? I ran
every diagnostic possible and performed every maintenance check; still
no Menu Bar.
Boy would I appreciate help. Someone said this might be an Active X
problem, if someone attempted to hijack my computer with a Toolbar. I
said I just wish I could have a Menu Bar; then I could worry about a
Toolbar.
