Menu Bar - How to Edit?

Can I get a hint or two on how to edit the Menu Bar? Some items are too
long (I'd like to edit that) and there are a couple that I'd love to remove.

I understand how to edit the Tool Bars, but what about the Menu Bar (File |
Edit | View | Insert" Etc, Etc.)

Hi, David,

It's basically the same as editing the toolbar. Right-click and choose
Customize, and then while the Customize dialog box is open, you can drag
things on and off of the menus, just like the toolbars.
