Just moving from Office 2000 to XP. We use a customised
template to create all our documentation which contains an
additional menu bar option with about 20 macros attached
to it.
The first time you open a document using that template,
the menu bar option doesn't appear, but if you switch to a
blank screen or another document screen and back to the
doc just created, the menu bar option appears and does not
disappear again ever.
The correct template is attached as if you go to Tools,
Templates & Add Ins, it shows up there.
Best guess is that its a refresh problem but I have no
idea how to tackle it. Didn't have the problem with Word
2000 so assume its an XP "Feature"
template to create all our documentation which contains an
additional menu bar option with about 20 macros attached
