Your terminology is fine. Navigation bar is just another way of describing a
menu, or menu bar.
It appears that the problem is not an ungrouping issue, but I would still
suggest that you install the Office 2007 SP2 if you haven't already.
I am not sure why your navbar is not working correctly in Safari...all the
links are dead, except for the last one. Also the navbar does not render
correctly in FireFox... Here are some things to try.
If you are using a Master Page and have put the navbar on a master page,
move it back. Go to View > Master Page. If you have anything on the Master,
move it all to the main page.
You have layered another text box or image behind or on top of the navbar.
In FireFox it is
http://www.jbfab.net/index_files/image431.gif
and the browser is pointing to your C drive for this image when you view
pages other than your home page. Confusing??? Make sure that this text box
or image is not grouped with your navbar. Click on it and if the grouping
icon shows up go to arrange > ungroup. Also go to Arrange > Order > send to
back to see if that makes any difference.
If none of the above works, you might move that text box off into the
scratch area and test to see if the navbar works then?
If you still are having no joy, you might want to rebuild your navbars. Go
to Insert > Navigation bar > existing and select the one you have been
using. Select the old navbar and cut, and drag the new one into place.
I will be interested if any of this leads to a solution. Post back if you
don't figure it out...and if you do.
