Menu in lower left of slide show presentation

Hi,

Is there any way to prevent PowerPoint from showing the menu that
appears in the lower left of the presentation mode? I'm interested in
being able to not have that display either in PPT for Mac or Windows.
If it must display, is there a way to prevent it from showing the
forward and back options?

Thanks!

Best regards,
Phillip

PS My whole intent is to prevent users from going forward in the slide
show without using the navigation buttons on the slides.

Go to the Slide Show menu and choose Set Up Show. Click on the choice for
Browsed at a Kiosk. That will prevent all navigation without clicking on
your navigation buttons. Note that it will also disable all keystrokes
(other than Escape) so if you have any animation that must be automatic,
not waiting for the user to click or hit the space bar. This works on
both Mac and Windows.

Use Slide Show, Set Up Show and choose Kiosk mode; that disables everything but
the Esc key. That should also take care of the lower left set of buttons and
the popup menu on right-mouseclick.

Hi,

In PowerPoint for Mac you can go to the PowerPoint menu and choose
Preferences.

On the VIEW tab under the Slide Show settings adjust the pop-up to "No
Slide Show Controls."

I think this setting is a PowerPoint setting for the computer as opposed
to being included in the presentation itself.
