Merchandise tracking

I am looking for a template to help me track merchandise (color, style,
size, qty), figure cost and profit, without starting from scratch. I am a new
user to MS Office 2007 and am self learning and I don't have a book. I have
looked at the templates that came with the software and none seem to be quite
right. I am using this Access and Excel together for this project. Any
suggestions out there? I just want to be able to put in catagories, items,
sizes, styles, colors, costs and markups, stuff like that.

Did you look through the Access database templates in the Online section? In
the Business section there's an Inventory database that may help get you
started.

I did and I just didn't see what I was looking for. There is a lot of
information on them that I don't need. I probably will end up creating one
myself. I just don't really want to. I thought there has got to be one out
there in this great big world.
