I was trying to hide a column in Excel 2004 for Mac, os 10.4.11, and I
couldn't because I got an error message "That command cannot be used with
selections that contain entire rows or columns, and other cells...." I had
merged a cell in that column with a cell in another column, but I turned off
the merge! When I select that column, and scroll down it, I don't see
indications that other cells are involved. Is there a way to show all cells
in a column that are merged with other cells?
