merge data from Excel to Word

Does anyone know if you can merge numbers from Excel into
Word directly into a chart or graph?

have you tried
Insert
Object
Microsoft Excel Chart
then you can right click and enter the data

you should also be able to simply highlight and copy your
chart from excel and paste onto the word page

or

Insert
Object
Microsoft Excel Chart
then click the sheet 1 tab and copy your data from excel
so the chart updates itself. then you can format the
chart too, if you wish.
