Hi, am I crazy or can this be done? I can't figure it out.
I have a template webpage which I need to merge with huge
excel sheet and save each merged document according to
the "name" column in spreadsheet automatically. Worksheet
in excel has "name" "address" "ID#" columns.
Currently, I save template html source code as .txt and do
a mail merge in Word with data from excel. This imports
the data "name" "address" and "ID#" to specific locations
on my html source code text file. When the merge is done,
I take each merged source code text file and save it
as "Name".html Each page gets the same name as it appears
under "name" column in excel spreadsheet.
Can this be automated? The merge works great in generating
html code with data from spreadsheet but I have to
manually save each merged document as html and assign it
the name as it shows in the spreadsheet. There are 10,000
names on this spreadsheet!
