merge field with format switch \* DollarText

How do I get a merge field with format switch \* DollarText to work for
numbers over $1,000,000? I receive the following error only when my records
greater than $1,000,000 are merged:

ERROR! NUMBER CANNOT BE REPRESENTED IN SPECIFIED FORMAT.

I've tested all other records under a million and they merge and perform the
format switch perfectly.

PLEASE HELP!! :)

The following macro will convert numbers up to 999 trillion. If your data
source is a table in a Word document, you could modify it to process the
number in each cell of the column that contains the numbers that you want to
appear in Dollars and Cents, or if the data source is somewhere else, you
could use a catalog or directory type mailmerge with the fields in the cells
of the one row table in the mailmerge main document to get all of the data
into a table in a Word document so that you can then run the macro:

Function ConvertCurrencyToEnglish(ByVal MyNumber)
Dim Temp
Dim Dollars, Cents
Dim DecimalPlace, Count

ReDim Place(9) As String
Place(2) = " Thousand "
Place(3) = " Million "
Place(4) = " Billion "
Place(5) = " Trillion "

MyNumber = Trim(Str(MyNumber))

DecimalPlace = InStr(MyNumber, ".")
If DecimalPlace > 0 Then
Temp = Left(Mid(MyNumber, DecimalPlace + 1) & "00", 2)
Cents = ConvertTens(Temp)
MyNumber = Trim(Left(MyNumber, DecimalPlace - 1))
End If
Count = 1
Do While MyNumber <> ""
'convert last 3 digits to English Dollars
Temp = ConvertHundreds(Right(MyNumber, 3))
If Temp <> "" Then Dollars = Temp & Place(Count) & Dollars
If Len(MyNumber) > 3 Then
'remove last 3 comverted digits
MyNumber = Left(MyNumber, Len(MyNumber) - 3)
Else
