merge fields not available

When I am making a letter template to merge data from
outlook into the letter, there are outlook fields that I
would like to use that are not listed in the merge fields
drop down in word.

For Example, How can I insert the merge field for spouse
name into my template?

When I am making a letter template to merge data from

drop down in word.
Word uses a converter utility to extract fields from the
contacts for mail merge. And as you've seen, it doesn't pick
up all the fields.

Start the mail merge from the OUTLOOK Tools menu, and you
can use all the fields.
