Merge file missing records

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I have as a data source an excel 2008 file. 3 columns, one with name, one with table number and one with food choice. Each row is a different person - 50 rows with a header row listing column names as mentioned, 51 total rows.
I used the Merge manager to create badges with the information using the Avery template choice in Word 2008. When I preview the list of records all the information is with the correct number of records is present. When I complete the merge, I am always missing only one record. So if I filter for a table number and there are 16 people, the merge file only shows 15 to print. What is going on?

I'd say that's a bug.

If you want to zip up the Excel source file and your main document and send
it to (e-mail address removed), I will put it in to Microsoft for you.

Cheers
