Merge Files

Hello,
Can you tell me how I can do to create just one big word
file adding several chapter files and create just one big
word file.

I have report that have separate chapters sometime there
are 5 or 6 or 10 or more chapters for one report.

Are you asking how to do this using VBA, or just "by hand"?
Does using Insert/File give you the kindo of result you
need? If not, what kinds of problems are you seeing?

What will be done with such a report, once it has been
generated? (This will help us determine what features may or
may not be suitable.)

Hello,
Sorry' I forgot to mention that I need is a code on VBA to
create the merge file; since we create chapter by chapter
the document and I have to merge all the chaptes to
create just one big chapter and later I have create the
TOC and LOF for the hold report.

OK, but you do need to answer

By this, I mean I need to know whether the result will just be
printed, then discarded? Or if further editing needs to be
done? Things like that.

This will influence the types of approaches that you can use.
