merge from an attached word doc

hello,
i recieve an attached word doc (using outlook) which is a template with
different data filled in its data fields very frequently.
i would like to transfer the chosen fields to an excel worksheet
(accumulating records)
a macro would be the best option, if complicated i'd appriciate any other
solution.
