merge from word 2002 from access 2000

Hi Thanks for looking here

My problem is that we have upgradet from office 2000 to office xp. When im
in Word 2002 try to compare and merge from the access mdb file. It shows a
preview box, with a wrong font. And when i merge nothing happens. ??

I can stille merge it from an word 2000.
I have tried to upgrade the access database to 2002 but without an usefull
result.

Hope to here from you, i could really need some help.

Microsoft changed the way merge connected to data in Office XP (continued in
2003) and this caused all kinds of issues. Look at the Excel data (which has
the same issues as Access) section of

I have tried as you wrote on your webpage, but without luck.
i cant choose DDE.... Is this only an option with excell??

It shouldn't be - it works here, though I cannot put a finger on why it

What options do you see in the "Confirm Data Source" dialog box? (e.g. here
I see "OLE DB Database Files", "MS Access Databases via DDE (*.mdb,*.mde)"
and "MS Access Databases via ODBC (*.mdb)" ). If you check "Show All", do
you see the Access Databases via DDE option?

Is your database protected by a password (or using a workgroup database)?
