I'd be interested if anyone can reproduce this buggish behavior
I start with a merge template whose source data is an Excel spreadsheet.
(It's an address list.)
When I invoke query options for a surname that contains an apostrophe
e.g. O'Malley, Word tells me
"This merge document contains outdated sorting information. Word is
removing it"
It then refuses to use the record I wanted to select.
If I access the same record via a different field, it works OK.
I'd like to file the bug knowing it was not just me.
