Merge multiple Word tables

Hello There,
I have multiple tables in a word document. They're the result of an OCR
scan, where each physical page is scanned into a separate Word Table in the
same document. Therefore, if I have four physical pages, I end up with 1
Word document with four Tables. I have no control over the scanning / OCR
software.

I can address the tables individually, and can copy and manipulate the
content. It would be much easier however, if I could find a way to Merge
(concatenate) the multiple Word Tables into one. I appreciate your help.

Generally speaking, if you just juxtapose the tables, they will combine.
That means that you remove any paragraphs between them. Sometimes, however,
against all reason, this doesn't work. Reasons for that may include:

1. One or more of the tables is wrapped.

2. Rows that would end up in the middle of the table are marked as heading
rows.

3. Unknown causes. I've seen tables that I created myself and know are
completely ordinary flat out refuse to join even though neither of the above
was a factor.

Susan,
Thanks for the reply. This method worked.

On a separate table-related note:
After the tables merged, I needed to make sure that the leading spaces in my
left column (placed there by the OCR scanner) were eliminated. I used the
Center Justify / Left Justify method, but that solution didn't produce
consistent results. Once I made sure that the columns were in absolute
perfect alingment, the Center Justify / Left Justify worked well.
