Hi Peter,

It would help to know the version of Word and Excel you are using. If
using Word 2002/2003 and Excel 2002/2003 then in Word do the
following:

- Go to Tools/Options/General
- Turn on "Confirm Conversion at Open"
- Select your datasource again for mail merge'
- When prompted select the DDE method

This should pick up the number formatting in your workbook instead of
displaying the data as it is stored.

btw, typing in all uppercase is considered yelling in the newsgroups
and it's difficult to read. :)

In the Word document right-click the calculated field and
change the format then save the document and try the merge
again.

Alternatively, alter the formula in Excel using the Round
function to say, two decimal places.

e.g =ROUND(F6*G6,2) will round the sum toresultinsay, 13.33
