merge several visio drawings into one

Hi,

I'm looking to merge several visio drawings into one drawing other then
using the cut and paste method. This one drawing would then be the master
drawing.

Also I would like to hot-link the master drawings to the original drawings
so if I were to make changes on the master drawing, it would modify the
original drawings.

If the above isn't possable, would I be able to have the original drawings
hot-linked to update the master when I make changes to them?

The product installed is,
Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003 Sp2 (11.5509.6568)
It is part of the complete Office 2003 suite.

you'd probably have to write a lot of code to make it happen since Visio has
no embedded functions to support it.
