Merge? Template? Repeating info in a series of forms.

I work for a small one girl office. I have a series of forms that I need to
fill out with repeating information for each file. Each file is for a
different matter but many contain the same forms. I want to create a master
data document that I need only to provide the info once for each file and
have (all or some) of that info inserted into the forms/documents that I need
to create. I knew how to do this years ago in Word Perfect, but WP used the
"merge" function which seems different in Word. Can anyone help me? I have
tried all the on-line mail merge, template, etc. training provided but it did
not address the type of help I need. Thanking you in advance. Jenn

If you have the repeating information stored in a data file you could use
mail merge, but if you are filling in forms one at a time you should take a
look at http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm
