merge to e-mail

I am using Word 2002 and trying to merge to email (in HTML
format), with no joy - no messages are produced. It works
fine in plain text format. I am using Eudora, but also
tried with Outlook and got same thing - any bright ideas??

As far as I know, merge to e-mail using HTML format only works with the full
Outlook (probably version 2002), and some features only work properly if you
have the current Office 2002 service pack.It definitely does not work with
the version of Eudora I have tried (5.1 or 5.2) or Outlook Express.

I have Outlook Express and Word 2002, no HTML results here.

Is Outlook 2002 a different product?

Yes. Outlook Express is part of the full installation of Internet Explorer
and is (as far as I know) a free download if you have Windows. It supports
Internet (POP3) mail, NNTP/Usenet newsgroups, and an Address book. The "full
Outlook" is a pay-for product available either as a standalone product or as
part of Microsoft Office, and supports MS Exchange mail and "public
folders", Internet (POP3&IMAP) mail, a different address book facility from
Outlook Express, forms and VBA programming, and does not support NNTP/Usenet
newsgroups.
