Merge to ODC driver: merge results displayed in main document

I use Word 2002. I have created a Word main document, which links to a
SQL View as the merge datasource. When I open the document, and BEFOR
I run the merge, some of the fields are displayed as mergefields, other
are displayed as results (e.g., some numerical values, results of I
statements etc.). The results refer to the first record in th
datasource. I would like to suppress this, i.e. I would like th
mergefields to be displayed, rather than the results, until I actuall
run the mail merge process.

Use Alt+F9 to toggle on the display of the field codes.
