Merged data formating

[IUF]

I am merging from an excel spreadsheet and have currency
formatted values that I want to show in the document. I
lose commas and trailing zeros after the decimal. what am
I doing wrong? I am using WindowsXP and Ofice 2002.

You need a switch on the merge field - see

in this instance it would be {Mergefield fieldname \# ",$0.00"}
