Merged data

Hello,

Here's the situation. I have two sets of ODBC data that I
need to merge data from, but due to the volume and size of
the tables, I can't put them into an A97 database.

Is there a way in A97 to write a query to select records
from both tables similar to a merge query and then append
query?

There's always a way, but since volume is the biggest issue, how will a
merge get you to a smaller volume? I would think that you would need to
exclude some data to make the volume smaller such that you could store it in
A97.


If space is really an issue, but A97 is required, there's nothing against
having multiple .mdbs with a subset of the data. It would be painful, but
it could work.
