MergeToFax Button disabled!

Hello,
do you know why the "Merge To Fax" button of mail merge toolbar is disabled?
I have a modem, Fax console and Outlook Express installed and working in my
system.
I'm using Windows XP Pro and Office 2003.
The MailToE-Mail button works ok, but what about the fax??
Please help...

Peter, you just solved a BIG problem. I can't find the words to thank you.
The macro I found at http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0001.htm was just what I needed.
