mergin report in word template

Hi,
I want the following:
I have a report in Access2k2 then I export it to Word because users wants to
edit some texts but.. in the export process I need to take some data from
the report and put it in some specific parts in the word document.
Some texts goes to the header of the documents and others to the footer and
the main text in report goes to the body part in word document.
I tried with bookmarks but I can't reach them when are in header and footer.
Also with fields I get the ugly code(MERGE FIELD.....) all the time in the
word document
any suggestion ??

I believe I have a similar problem. I have a merge document that has data
fields in the body and the footer of the document. The merge macro creates
the document as expected and then the document is saved. The document can be
printed at the office and all data fields print. However if you try to print
to a remote printer from a the remote location the data fields in the footer
(only) revert to the merge field name. This prevents me from working at
home. Also if you convert the document to PDF the same thing happens. It
would be nice if someone had a solution.
