merging data into two types of references

Brian

I'm trying to take data from a workbook page amd create a
different workbook with the same data but a different
format without having to double enter the data. Is this
possible and how would it be done?
Thanks

Brian,

It is very possible, but how to do it depends on the current form and
desired form of your data.

Sometimes, a macro is best, other times, formulas can be used. But, the
specifics are very dependent on the layout.

Post back with your current and desired layouts, and somebody - maybe even
I - will help you.

Brian,
Right click the sheet tab and choose move or copy. Make sure you clcik Copy
down the bottom of the box and select to new book in the drop down.

This will copy the sheet to a new workbook, and you can then re-format to
your hearts content without corrupting the original data.
