Merging data sources and data view web part

T

Thrashman

I want to display two sources of data on the same web part. I know this must
be easy from reading the FP 2003 book but the life of me I can't get it to
work.
I have the two data sources - I create two web parts on the page, then I
link the two web parts, with one providing data to the other one - but it
appears that it wants to use the data in one part to filter the data in the
other part. I want just to merge the two data sources.
Any thoughts - this is simple in MOSS but I don't have that yet. I also am
not able to purchase and install a web-part on my company's computer.
Any suggestions most appreciate, especially very specific ones with step by
step.
Thanks
