I have used the import function from within Outlook 2003
to import records from ACT!2000, which worked.
My problem is that the two packages do not seem to be
able to map the e-mail address fields.
I can export the ACT! data to Excell or CSV etc. and
include the e-mail address so, were I to do this how
would I then MERGE the Excel data (I have just been
through 1600+ Outlook records editing in Outlook and do
not want to do this again) into Outlook just picking-up
on the missed data.
No Company names or contact names have been changed so I
have a hook for merging however, quite a few records were
deleted so I cannot simply match tables line-for-line.
I suppose I could use a VLookup or HLookup function in
Excel but then I am still outside of Outlook and not
where I want to be.
Any ideas?.... Anyone?
