I have text information in two cells that I wish to merge/add to text data in
a third?

You need to be more specific. What does "merge/add" mean? If A1 contains
some text, and B1 contains some more text, and you want to append this to
some text in C1, then, in D1 use the formula: =c1&a1&b1.

If this is not what you had in mind, give a better example.
