Merging documents using altChunk

In Word I'm attempting to combine multiple documents which contain table rows
into a single document using altChunk. While the documents do merge together
succesfully, the merge process also includes the end document delimeter for
each document, thus adding a space between the documents that are imported /
merged together.

Any thoughts on modifying this behavior? (I don't want document seperators
between the imported documents)...
