merging duplicate records

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can merge duplicate client records. I
have a primary key field that is Called ClientID (its an autonumber field)
The "client" table also has a table related to it called "sales" one client
can have many sales. ( one to many relationship) I need to get the sales all
to the same client and delete the second record. Any Ideas would be greatly
appreceated!
