Merging Excel to Word document

I have cells formatted for currency and some for percentage and the
look correct in Excel but when placed into form on Word the dolla
signs and percentages dissapear and just the numbers unformatte
appear. How to merge with integrity of dollars and percentages

Excel stores the formatting separately to the actual data.
