merging PDF files with Word files into one master document

I have a CD of 130 pages comprised of PDF files and Word
documents. Currently they are randomly numbered. I want to
number them in sequence into one large Word document so
that when future pages are added the numbering will adjust
sequentially. I hesitate to convert the PDF into Word
because when they are pasted later the data tends to get
mixed up. Can anyone help me?
